Players can only acquire a certain number of Enchanting Knowledge points per week and these points are non-refundable, so it would be wise to think carefully before spending them. Dragon Isles Enchanting Knowledgeĭragon Isles Enchanting Knowledge points work just like talent points but instead of using them to gain new skills and spells, they’re used to advance Specializations. Although players can use recrafting on rods and wands, the feature doesn’t work on enchants. This new feature is very useful for crafting professions like Tailoring, Leatherworking, or Blacksmithing, however, Enchanters won’t be able to get much use out of it. The quality of a crafted item or enchantment is dictated by the player’s skill level and ties in with recipe difficulty, another new addition that shows players how much skill they need to craft a particular recipe at the highest level of quality. Item QualityĮnchants in Dragonflight have three levels of quality while crafted items such as rods and wands can have up to five. Just like Resourcefulness, Inspiration can be increased by equipping better Crafting Garments. Inspiration is another new stat and this one increases a player’s chances of gaining bonus crafting skill whenever they’re enchanting an item. However, this only applies to tradable reagents and won’t work with soulbound items like Artisan’s Mettle or Primal Chaos. The stat increases a player’s chances of using up fewer reagents when crafting enchants. Resourcefulness is one of the new crafting-specific stats added in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight. The items change the appearance of your character, but they have separate slots, so no need to worry about having to give up regular pieces of gear when equipping them. Similar to other professions, Enchanters can equip up to three accessories at any one time. In addition to making professions more immersive, these items also provide helpful bonuses and/or increase the potency of crafted items. Dragonflight brought to the table changes that made Enchanting more complicated in some ways but simpler in others. Of course, before players can enjoy the myriads of benefits provided by this profession in Dragonflight, they'll first need to level it up all the way to the max. Once you get to the point where even the smallest stat increase can make a big difference, Enchanting suddenly becomes extremely valuable, not to mention extremely profitable. While other professions provide significant benefits to characters as they’re leveling, the true value of Enchanting only comes into play after you've reached max level and start delving into end game content. At first glance, Enchanting seems like a wasteful profession that requires you to destroy items you could otherwise be selling in exchange for small stat buffs that won't make much of a difference in the grand scheme of things. Despite being one of the most interesting professions in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, Enchanting can sometimes feel off-putting, especially to new players.
